Am from Bathinda, Punjab. Did my MBBS from AIIMS, New Delhi. Wanted to pursue research as I felt best suited for that but didn’t know exact research area or a queation for a while, until a lecture on Neuroplasticity while I was doing MD Pathology in Philadelphia, USA, gave me a direction. I wish to be able to do psychophysical experiments to prove good virtuous deeds are rewarded, and find the cognitive science basis and do mathematical modelling to try to devise a simple equation or scientific laws of happiness or of you get what do deserve. Outside curricular time, I enjoy playing and watching sports, Cricket, Tennis, Soccer; playing card or puzzle games, being in Nature.

I am an MSc Clinical Psychology graduate from CHRIST University, Bengaluru. Cognitive Science enthralled me with its amazing way to look at the brain! It helps answer the seemingly infinite questions of the myriad mental processes. I want to learn how to ask some of my own questions and find their answers as well. My research interests include pragmatics in psycholingustics, memory, attentional processes and cognitive flexibility. In class, I like to build metaphors to theorize about the brain and in my free time I like building metaphors in poetry and prose!

I am from Satara, Maharashtra. I have done bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in industrial design from IISc, Bangalore. I have worked in domain of Biomedical NPD, UX and Behavioural design. I have an immense curiosity in matters relating to consciousness and the human mind. I enjoy researching intelligent systems like the human brain because it gives me new perspectives on interplay of the mind and the world. This interest has led me to pursue further education in the field of cognitive science. I am interested in topics of Decision Making, Consciousness and Computational neuroscience. In my free time I like to read nonfiction books on Philosophy and Politics. I love to sketch portraits and do poetry.

I am from Allahabad. I have done my BTech in computer science engineering. I have always wanted to psychology and learn how the mind works, how to manipulate someone’s behaviour etc. This interest in psychology came about after I watched the mentalist series and ever since then I have always tried to learn how much ever I can side by side my studies. During my bachelor’s I stumbled upon cognitive science and it integrated computer science with psychology, I was immediately drawn to it and that’s how I joined CBCS. I have many hobbies; playing basketball, table tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, tennis and also like to play chess and I can even play some guitar too. So, in my free time I usually play video games or play a sport if I have anyone to play with. Also, about my thesis, I think my topic would be how Vedam affects cognition in children and adults.

I am from Kolkata. I have done my B.Sc. in Behavioural Science & Applied psychology at NSHM Kolkata. After being bombarded with complex concepts of physics, chemistry and computer science in my high school my interest grew towards how we actually learn which led to my interest in psychology. During my bachelor’s in psychology my strong interest in consciousness, perception and artificial intelligence leads me to cognitive science. As for hobbies I would say I appreciate some good music and movies. In case of co-curricular activities, I have played for various cricket clubs and participated in tournaments organised by the Cricket Association of Bengal at age grouped levels. I have captained and was part of my school’s football team and cricket team.
